Summary: A drabble from ART's perspective, meeting SecUnit for the first time.





I opened my lock and the SecUnit came aboard. I upped my onboard air. It pushed a condensed packet of media into my feed and I quietly took it and scanned it for malware, finding none. The SecUnit patrolled my corridors until I decoupled from the transit ring. It went to Martyn’s chair in my crew meeting area and proceeded to sort through its media, then started an episode. Interestingly, I could feel its emotions through the feed as it watched it. I had run many searches. It had to be rogue. I wanted to know more.

This is a lot of firsts for me, my first written fiction in decades, my first written fanfiction, etc. :3 But I saw all the fun others were having with the drabbles and thought I could try writing 100 words of my own, of a scene and perspective I never get tired of seeing depicted in fanfiction.

This even goes with a prompt! From Dec. 17th: Overture.
